More evidence Apple plans to release a new iPhone in the spring has been making the rounds online thanks to a photo on a Chinese tech website, CNN reportsThe image shows telecom company China Mobile's plans for the future, which includes a product labeled "Future Apple iPhone 7C" in the column marked for April releases.

However, Apple Insider claims the phone would actually be called the iPhone 6c, as Apple would be unlikely to release a 7c version before releasing the 7 model.

Suspicions of a new phone first began when KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who is a trusted prognosticator, predicted a new, four-inch iPhone for 2016, according to CNN.

The phone has been expected to have a resolution of 640x1136 pixels and a pixel density of 325 ppi, International Business Times reports. They also suggest it will have a rear-facing camera with eight megapixels and the phone will be encased in metallic chassis. The phone would likely come with A9 processors and support Apple Pay, according to Apple Insider. Experts believe the phone will be a low-end model, priced at around $450. The device will also be slightly curved, come in gray, silver and gold colors, according to PC Magazine.

The speculation has been mounting as an unnamed source told media about an Apple event planned for March 2016.
