It has been four years since fans of J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" series has seen the wizarding world on screen, but the first trailer of the spin-off film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is here to remind everyone that the magic still exists.

As promised, the first trailer of the film starring Academy Award-winner Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander dropped early Wednesday morning and it does not disappoint! The trailer opens much like the film "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" with Newt sitting on a bed whispering "Lumos Maxima," a spell that gives off light. While Redmayne's voice is the first to be heard in the trailer, the first person we see is Katherine Waterson, who plays Tina Goldstein. Tina seems to be standing in front of the American version of the Wizengamot (wizard court) where she explains that a wizard entered New York City with a magical case.

"The case was full of magical creatures," Tina explains. "And unfortunately some have escaped."

The screenplay for "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" was written by Rowling herself and marks the first time the best-selling author has written a script. The film is based off a "textbook" in the "Harry Potter" world that Rowling published in 2001 for charity, as HNGN previously reported.

The story takes place in 1926 New York and will also tell the tale of how wizards in American are in hiding against No-majs (Muggle, or people with non-magical abilities).

The film also stars Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight and Ron Perlman.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" will be released in theaters on Nov. 18, 2016.
