Last night on "The Late Late Show," host James Corden welcomed country music superstar and "American Idol" winner Carrie Underwood to his Carpool Karaoke segment. Underwood gave the British host lessons in country music, hockey and the band Wham! as they drove through the streets of Los Angeles.

The pair first warmed up with some classic Underwood songs like "Jesus Take the Wheel," "Before He Cheats" and her latest single "Smoke Show." Corden then told Underwood about his desire to break into the world of country music. Underwood suggested that the host needed to buy some country threads, especially a good pair of cowboy boots. The two then drove to a store that specialized in the classic country shoes. Corden eventually found a pair that he liked, but was shocked at the $800 price tag.

"What do you think I am, Rockefeller?" Corden asked the store clerk.

"That's nothing, come on," Underwood encouraged.

"We're not all multi-platinum recording artists, we haven't all had four Billboard number ones," Corden replied. "Some of us are on CBS at 12:30."

Once the duo were back in the car, Underwood revealed that she knew every lyric to every Wham! song. She then joined Corden in a harmonized version of the band's hit song "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go."
