Super Mario, the most popular and one of the most beloved games of all time, is celebrating its 30th anniversary since it was launched in September 1985. To commemorate this milestone, luxury watchmaker Romain Jerome, created a very limited edition Mario watch that will cost a staggering $18,950.

The Super Mario Bros. watch is not a smart watch, an electronic wearable device or a miniature game console platform. Rather, it is a mechanical timepiece that includes a pixelated Mario, the infamous mushroom, a cloud and a bush as design elements. They are presented in an almost 3-D environment in which the elements are enameled and slightly raised from the background, according to Slash Gear. The watch is made of titanium, has a mechanical RJ001-A automatic movement and a 46mm case.

Romain Jerome has already made waves in the past with notable watches such as the Pacman watch, which retailed at a slightly cheaper $17,900 price tag in 2012, according to A Blog to Watch. There was also the handmade watch crafted from crocodile skin and materials taken from the Apollo 11 space shuttle, Nintendo Life reported.

Fans who would like to buy the Mario watch will need to move fast as there will only be 85 watches made. This number coincides with 1985, the year of the video game's first launch. Unfortunately, there is still no information about the actual date of the watch's launch or the location where it will be available. It will surely make an appearance at Romain Jerome's website soon.
