Last night on "The Late Late Show," host James Corden grilled teen pop stars Shawn Mendes and Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello on the status of their relationship.

The singer stopped by the late night show to discuss and perform their new song, "I Know What You Did Last Summer," but not before they answered some fan questions first. Of course, a fan asked the two was if they were or were not an official item.

"Are you two dating?" the British TV personality read aloud the fan submitted question.

Mendes, 17, and Cabello, 18, both looked awkwardly at each other before they denied the dating rumor.

"Can I be honest? I don't believe you," Corden told the singers. "There's no way you haven't made out."

"We haven't, actually," Mendes replied. "Every time I try to make a move, she just swears me off. It's never gonna happen."

"He friend-zones me! He calls me 'kid'!" Cabello said.

Despite Corden's insistence that the two come clean, they refused to bite and both mounted "we're not dating" into the camera as the segment came to a close. The two then stuck around and sung their new duet, "I Know What You Did Last Summer."
