It has been 20 years since Alanis Morissette's 1995 album "Jagged Little Pill" was released. To celebrate the milestone, Morissette joined "The Late Late Show" host James Corden in updating the lyrics to her hit '90s song "Ironic."

Just one week after Alanis Morissette and "The Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon clucked their way through the singer's iconic song on "The Tonight Show," Morissette ditched the old lyrics to her song and replaced them with modernized phrases so the youth of today could understand the message. Using the same melody, Morissette opened the song singing about old friends who sent Facebook requests and free office cake on the first day of a diet.

"It's like swiping left on your future soul mate," the chorus rang. "It's a Snapchat that you wish you had saved/ It's a funny tweet that nobody faves/ And who would have thought, it figures."

The pair finished the song by addressing the long-time haters of the song who said the song actually did not include any ironic situations.

"It's singing 'Ironic' but there are no ironies," Morissette and "The Late Late Show" host belted out together.
