Warning: The following contains possible spoilers for "Justice League."

My Entertainment World has obtained an unconfirmed plot synopsis for Warner Bros.' planned two-part "Justice League" series scheduled for 2018 and 2019 and to be directed by "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" filmmaker Zack Snyder. It's important to remember that this story overview is unofficial at this time, meaning you should take it with a shaker of salt. But if true, it sounds as if the DC Extended Universe will see one of the most badass villains of all time on screen soon.

Previous rumors had suggested that Brainiac could be the primary antagonist of the "Justice League" series. However, this latest report ups the ante with another powerful foe.

The synopsis reads:

"The world's greatest heroes are assembled to form the Justice League, to combat a threat beyond each individual's capabilities. The story involves Darkseid planning the destruction of Earth by blasting it with a ray that'll move Apokolips into the Earth's place."

In the comics, Darkseid is the dictator of planet Apokolips, a war torn wasteland, who destroys his opposition with ferocious violence. He has unlimited strength, the ability to teleport and sometimes resurrect the dead. His most iconic power is the Omega beams he shoots from his eyes. In Darkseid, the Justice League has a physical and mental foe that can truly challenge them.

Production for "Justice League: Part I" is scheduled to begin in the UK in 2016. Hopefully by then, we'll have a better understanding of the film's story and central villain.
