Marvel is a creative brand that cannot seem to stop itself from expanding and doing so rapidly. Just four weeks after launching its first live-action television series, "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD," the company seems to have very lofty plans for moving forward in the future.

Deadline is reporting that Marvel is quietly putting together four new live-action drama series as well as a miniseries that would all be sold as one entity to a single network. The entire commitment is said to bring in a total of 60 episodes. IGN reports the entire project would be shopped to various VOD and cable outlets like Netflix, Amazon and WGN America as potential candidates.

Although there is no talent attached and the project is in very early stages of development, the company is reportedly hearing back from some interested parties who are on board with the idea.

Deadline notes that a single network signing on to a 60-episode commitment right out of the box is highly irregular. The idea is that the Marvel brand will hold enough weight to carry viewer interest through this long-term and bold new idea.

This report comes on the heels of a Marvel and ABC development of an Agent Carter series based on Hayley Atwell's character from the firs "Captain America" film where she played the hero's main love interest.

There is no word yet on if this series will be a part of the new idea or what the other shows in the project will have to do with. However, more word will likely come once the company has a network lined up.
