It's rare for a franchise to have such coveted roles that actors throughout all walks of life have trouble keeping roles and rumors under wraps. Marvel is such a project with members of the cast often getting so excited about potential roles in the action-packed super hero universe that they simply can help but leak a bit of information. Adding onto the list of potential casting leaks for Marvel is Simon Pegg who dropped a hint about his possible involvement in Edgar Wright's Ant-Man film.

Without jumping to any conclusions, Pegg merely tweeted an image of himself earlier today posing in front of a poster full of drawings of iconic Marvel heroes. His index finger in the show, however, is perhaps sending a very subtle message about what he's doing in a building with a gigantic poster of Marvel characters. Could Pegg, the mind behind "Shawn of the Dead," and this summer's "The World's End" be in talks to play a role in the upcoming film for Marvel's next Phase of movies?

While a conveniently placed index finger is not exactly confirmation of casting, Pegg's involvement in the film wouldn't be totally outrageous. The 43-year-old actor has starred in three of Wright's four feature films to date. It wouldn't exactly be a huge shock to see the director continue with what's been successful for him in the past. Especially given the high stakes of any Marvel project. Furthermore, Pegg has proven that he can handle himself in iconic roles and has some science fiction chops. He co-starred in this summer's sequel remake of the immensely popular Star Trek franchise. Pegg played a rather meaty role as Scottish engineer Scotty in J.J. Abrams "Star Trek: Into Darkness."
