Houston Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney could miss his second straight game with a sprained right ankle, according to Dale Robertson of the Houston Chronicle.

Clowney was held out last week, but the Texans were able to pick up their second win of the season over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Texans coaching staff didn't seem to want to give too much away regarding Clowney's status, which has many thinking that he will be not be suiting up this weekend.

Head coach Bill O'Brien said Clowney looked, "OK," according to the Houston Chronicle. "He was out there, and that was good, but we didn't let him do a whole lot, He was just trying to test it out to see what it felt like. We'll have to see if he can goose up the next couple of days and (see) what the trainers have to say," said defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel.

Clowney has yet to get a sack this season but has recorded 12 tackles this season. The former first pick in the 2014 draft has been injury-prone since before entering the league, but when healthy, he can create havoc on opposing offenses.

The Texans have also added Brian Cushing to the injury report due to a sprained ankle, according to Robertson. He was limited in practice, but it looks as though he has a better chance to play Sunday than Clowney.

The Texans are 2-4 but have yet to win consecutive games this season. They will have a tough challenge on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, as their defense looks much better after scaling back on their playbook. The Dolphins had six sacks against the Titans, and defense looks to be key for both of these teams on Sunday. As of right know, Clowney's status is unknown, but it seems like the Texans might give their former first round draft pick another week to get healthy.
