Caitlyn Jenner will continue to tell her story, as E! has renewed her docuseries "I Am Cait" for a second season, Deadline reported. The eight-episode series followed Jenner as she made her transition from Bruce, and she touched upon many issues facing the transgender community in each episode. She's also happy to be at the forefront of the discussion.

"I'm looking forward to continuing the conversation. #IAmCait," Jenner, 65, tweeted on Thursday following the announcement of the show's renewal.

The first season premiered on July 26, just two months after Jenner introduced herself as Caitlyn in a now-iconic Vanity Fair cover story, Entertainment Weekly reported.

By the end of season one, "I Am Cait" placed in the top five shows of 2015 on ad-supported cable for women ages 18-49, and it was within the top ten in the P18-49 and P18-34 groups, according to Deadline. Season two of "I Am Cait" is scheduled for a 2016 premiere.

"Caitlyn's story has ignited a global conversation on the transgender community on a scale that has never been seen before," Jeff Olde, E!'s EVP of programming and development, said in a statement. "We are honored Caitlyn has chosen to continue to share her ongoing story with our viewers around the world."
