Amy Schumer continues to have a great year! On top of a hit movie, an Emmy win and a major book deal, the comedian scored a huge pay raise for her next movie.

In the summer of 2013, Schumer was paid only $300,000 when she agreed to star in this summer's hit comedy "Trainwreck," according to the Hollywood Reporter. For her next role, the "Inside Amy Schumer" star will make somewhere between $4 and $5 million to star in a mother-daughter comedy for FOX that is to be directed by Jonathan Levine.

The difference between Schumer's pay check may have something to do with her new best friend and writing partner Jennifer Lawrence. Earlier this month, Lawrence spoke out about wage inequality in Hollywood in a post for Lena Dunham's Lenny Letter, a feminist email newsletter. In a candid essay titled "Why Do I Make Less Than My Male Co-Stars," the actress addressed the fact that she was paid less than Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale and Jeremy Renner in "American Hustle."

The new power-duo of Schumer and Lawrence announced in August that they were working on a screenplay together in which they would play sisters.

"We're almost done writing," Lawrence said. "It just flowed out of us.... Amy and I were creatively made for each other. We have different flavors. It's been the most fun experience of my life."

Congratulations to Schumer for her incredible pay raise!
