Pop star Demi Lovato has joined forces with rock group Fall Out Boy, lending her voice for a new version of their hit song "Irresistible," Entertainment Weekly reported. A new music video for the track was uploaded to the rocker's YouTube channel on Friday, which features a cameo from the adorable Internet celebrity Doug the Pug.

The video is a funny remake of the original music video released earlier this year, but stars Doug the Pug. The clip starts with the pug in a red tracksuit, white wrist sweatbands and sunglasses as he attempts to show off his (lack of) skills on a basketball court. The pooch returns in various scenes throughout the video, wearing various adorable outfits.

Lovato comes in on the chorus, singing along with lead singer Patrick Stump in a higher octave that's become her signature style. She goes for an edgier vocal performance on the verse and bridge, fitting in so well with Fall Out Boy's style that it seems like she belongs on the track.

"I think Demi Lovato has one of the most powerful voices today," bassist Pete Wentz wrote on his blog about the collaboration. "So we worked through an afternoon and she just got it. Excited for you guys to hear this new version of the song on Friday."

The new release comes just days after Fall Out Boy announced their upcoming "Wintour" in promotion of their 2015 hit album "American Beauty/American Psycho," Billboard reported. The 2016 North American Tour begins on Feb. 25 in San Juan, Puerto Rico and will wrap up on March 16 in Irvine, Calif. Bands Awolnation and Pvris will join Fall Out Boy as support.
