Jim Carrey attended the funeral of his late girlfriend Cathriona White in Ireland Saturday.

The actor was spotted carrying White's coffin to Our Lady of Fatima Church in her home village of Cappawhite, Co Tipperary. Carrey helped carry the casket from the funeral service to the burial grounds of Cappawhite Cemetry, where White was laid to rest next to her father, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Cathriona had such an amazing capacity to love and to be loved," White's sister Sarah said at the service, according to The Irish Mirror. "From growing up in Cappawhite, through to moving to Clonmel and finally settling in L.A., love remained a constant in her life from beginning to end."

"Cathriona was more of a Daddy's girl that anyone else I've ever met and although losing them both in such a short time is unimaginably difficult for us we can take some comfort in the knowledge that Cathriona and Pat are together again," Sarah added. "She is at peace."

White, 30, was found dead on Sept. 28 in her Los Angeles home and died of an apparent suicide, as HNGN previously reported.

White, who was a make-up artist by profession, had dated Carrey, 53, on and off over the last three years and the couple had recently broken up after a few months of dating, according to the LAPD, NBC News reported.

"Love cannot be lost," the actor wrote on Twitter after the funeral service, alongside a shadow silhouette of himself with White and a red rose emoji.
