Just days after Cathriona White was found dead in her Los Angeles home of an apparent suicide, her on-again-off-again boyfriend, actor Jim Carrey, was spotted spending time with her mother and sister, Lisa.

A source told Us Weekly that the actor has put White's family in a hotel "while they are in town from Ireland." The insider added that Carrey and White's family spent about an hour and a half "at his home in Brentwood" on Wednesday.

"Jim has been at his Brentwood home for the past few days and Cathriona's sister visited him last night for an hour," a source told PeopleEntertainment Tonight posted a photo of Lisa leaving Carrey's home in a black SUV.

Members of White's family are currently making arrangements to bring her body back to Ireland (where she was born) so White can be laid to read beside her late father. No additional information on her funeral arrangements has been made public.

"It's a terrible journey for her mother to have to make," a source close to the family said. "Everyone is hoping that her body can be returned home quickly now."

"The family of Cathriona White sincerely regret the untimely passing of their beloved daughter and sister," read a statement from White's family, according to The Irish Independent. "Cathriona was a shining light in our lives who was loved deeply by her entire family. We will miss her terribly and at this difficult time we ask to be left in private to mourn our loss. There will be no further statements on behalf of the family."

Carrey also released an emotional statement following White's death: "I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona. She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt."

Carry was also spotted visiting White's house following her death. He was photographed leaving her property, bowing his head down in the back seat of a car. The "Kick-Ass 2" actor tried to avoid being caught on camera by covering himself with a stack of boxes

Carrey and White dated on and off beginning in 2012, Us Weekly reported. The two reportedly ended their relationship on Sept 24. On the same day, White posted her final tweet, which read, "Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest. [Love] to you all."
