Selena Gomez, 23, said she has "been working in therapy" after landing at airports and "people would yell out, 'You're fat!'" Us Weekly reported.

Gomez posed nude in artwork for her upcoming album, "Revival." 

Fat-shamers posted comments online about her body when she appeared fuller in a swimsuit on vacation. 

The singer admitted in the US Weekly interview that the online criticism about her weight gain got to her "a little bit." Performing since the age of 7, this was the first time the "Love You Like a Love Song" singer posed nude.

"This was the first year I ever dealt with anyone talking about my body," she said according to The Huffington Post"It was awful," she said about people fat shaming her. "I've been working in therapy. Even if I did gain weight, I'm fine. That's what the picture represents."

Gomez posted a picture of herself in a bikini on Instagram with the caption: "I love being happy with me y'all #theresmoretolove."

Recently the singer revealed she underwent chemoterapy for lupus, as HNGN reported. Her album is coming out this week and she's preparing for a "Revival" world tour.
