Selena Gomez's latest album comes out later this week, and it has been officially announced that the "Revival" tour will begin in 2016.

"I am ready to get back on the road and see my fans in person!" said the 23-year-old in a statement, according to Entertainment Weekly. "This album marks a new and very important chapter in my life. I cannot wait to get onstage and perform this new material."

The tour will hit 41 cities and is set to kickoff May 6 in Las Vegas. "#REVIVALTour dates are up!" tweeted Gomez. "Preorder a REVIVAL bundle to get early tix. See you soon! Xo." The tweet also explained that only the U.S. and Canada dates have been announced so far, but more dates and information will come soon.

The "Revival" album, which can be pre-ordered now for its Friday release, has already-released hit singles "Good For You" and "Same Old Love," and features appearances from artists like Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, as HNGN previously reported. It chronicles her journey as she evolves from a former Disney star to a grown woman. Even the sexy album cover, which she posed topless for, shows how much she has matured since her time as a child star.

"I've lived such a public life that I understand I'm under a microscope," she told Entertainment Weekly of this being her most confident album yet. "That has taken me into so many different phases. It's made me depressed and it's made me happy and it's made me grateful and humble — but [I've learned] it's okay to let down my walls with my music, to feel sexy and good."

Tickets for Gomez's tour go on sale Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. EDT via Ticketmaster. The complete list of tour dates can be found HERE.
