Demi Lovato posed topless in her new, super sexy cover story for the October/November issue of Complex magazine, MTV reported. Lovato evoked a super confident, modern pin-up girl vibe for her vibrant, playful photo shoot.

In the cover photo, Lovato is wearing nothing but open-toe platform peep-toe leopard print heels and a pair of sheer, bright blue underwear. Her dark hair cascaded down her back in loose, 1940s pin-up girl-esque finger waves as she leaned against an inflatable banana.

Lovato not only stripped down in terms of her outfit choice, but emotionally as well. She spoke candidly about her non-existent relationship with her ex-best friend and fellow ex-Disney star Selena Gomez. She hinted that though the reason for the rift between them might have been due to Gomez's relationship with Justin Bieber, the two just grew apart.

"You know, when you're young and you get older, you change and people change. You have things in common, and then all of a sudden, you don't. It's just a part of life," she told Complex.

Then she explained why her friendship with Azalea is so strong, citing the fact that both women have been through hard times in their lives and have both come out strong. And they both have sobriety in common.

"The fact that she's gone through so much and I've gone through so much and on a Friday night we can make gingerbread houses together instead of going out and drinking our sorrows away - that's f--king cool," Lovato said. "I love that. It's nice to have somebody who's younger in the entertainment business who doesn't do all of that stuff."
