The undefeated LSU Tigers may be making some changes to their offense before Saturday's showdown with SEC rival South Carolina, according to Brett Martel of Yahoo.

The Tigers running game has been amazing this season, and that is due to Heisman front-runner Leonard Fournette. While Fournette continued to show why he is the best player in college football, their passing game struggled. The Tigers scored four touchdowns on offense in their win 44-22 over Eastern Michigan, but all four scores game on the ground and three were from Fournette.

No Tigers receiver caught more one pass, and that is likely why head coach Les Miles is looking to make some changes at the wide receiver position.

"We're looking at shuffling the lineup. We're looking at all those things," said Miles, via Yahoo Sports. "I like the effort of my wide receivers. It's not as productive as it needs to be. It needs to be more in line with the coaching. ... We have to execute better. Period."

The Tigers are four games into their season, and they are just averaging 95.5 passing yards a game. LSU may be able to rely on Fournette for some games, but their passing game will likely need to step up, especially as more opponents focus on stopping the run.

The Tigers still have South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M on their schedule, and without an aerial attack they likely won't make it in the college football playoffs.

"Now we're about to go into the meat of our schedule with SEC opponents, so we've got to find something," said sophomore receiver John Diarse, via Yahoo Sports. "We've got to find a rhythm. We've got to find a flow of things."

Miles is confident in quarterback Brandon Harris, and is likely hoping some changes at the receiver position will lead to a better passing game. "The balls that he's throwing, he's really on target. We just need to catch it. I think that will happen," said Miles, via Yahoo Sports.

There was concern when LSU's opening game was cancelled, and that it could have an effect on their chances for the playoffs. But since then, the Tigers have shown that they are clearly in the discussion for the college football playoff. Miles and the Tigers will likely need to figure out their passing game soon, as they have six SEC opponents left on their schedule who will be determined to stop the run.
