Kendra Wilkinson revealed that she tried to end her life on two occasions when she was just a teenager. The reality star said she was in a very dark place when she was younger and was even institutionalized.

When Wilkinson was a teen, she overdosed on drugs, she revealed in a new teaser trailer clip for her show "Kendra on Top" that was obtained by People magazine.

"The last couple days I've tried to pick apart my feelings a lot. When I was a teenager, I battled some severe depression," Wilkinson told her therapist, Monica Shahbaznia. "I attempted suicide a couple times. I went to a mental institution, drugs, overdosing, slitting wrists, all that stuff."

Wilkinson said she blamed her mother Patti for not offering her the love and support that she needed. She said that parents were supposed to provide "safety and protection" and "those people have a lot to do with how we bond with somebody else."

Things had been rocky between Kendra and her mother for years, according to Wonderwall. On a recent episode of her reality show, Kendra told her aunt, "I feel like I'm being raped every minute with my mom."

"Kendra on Top" airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on WEtv. Check out the clip below.
