Shonda Rhimes has an entire night on ABC dedicated to her three shows currently on air. The "Grey's Annatomy," "Scandal" and "How to Get Away with Murder" producer is also the healthiest that she has ever been after she lost an incredible 117 pounds!

Rhimes revealed that the reason behind her weight loss was all about her three young daughters.

"I just decided I was gonna get it together and get healthy," the 45-year-old told Extra. "I have some little kids, and I want to be around for them."

So, what was her secret? Rhimes said she simply ate healthier options and exercised regularly but did admit that she "hated it the entire time."

"Once I decided it wasn't going to be fun, I lowered my expectations," she explained. "It got kind of easier."

"I tried to make it much less and smaller portions, but what's happened is, is that you change what your palate wants. I'm suddenly craving fish and salad. It's upsetting," she said. "I'm like, where's my cake?"

The super producer recently added another show to her Shondaland production company. ABC picked up another medical drama from Rhimes about a U.S. Army Medical team that operates out of an American base in Baghdad in 2004.

All three Shondaland shows run back-to-back-to-back Thursday nights on ABC starting a 8 p.m. ET with "Grey's Anatomy."
