The casts of Shonda Rhimes' three shows, "Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal" and "How to Get Away With Murder," united in New York City for one epic photo! The gathering happened in May during ABC's upfronts week.

The 33 series regulars across the three shows posed with the creative minds from Shondaland, which included Rhimes herself, her producing partner Betsy Beers and "How To Get Away With Murder" showrunner Pete Norwalk, reported Entertainment Weekly. The photo was exclusively shot for Time Inc. publications Entertainment Weekly, Essence and People.

The picture was taken to celebrate and honor Rhimes, television's preeminent creator and producer, according to Essence. "Shonda invites powerful, intelligent women to be her leads," "Scandal" actress Kerry Washington said of her show's creator and executive producer. "Her identity as a woman - and the fact that she is a mother - lends to an understanding of people's range of experiences in life," Washington concluded.

All three of Rhimes show's run back-to-back-to-back on ABC's "Thank Goodness It's Thursday," or TGIT. "How to Get Away With Murder" lead actress Viola Davis said she was in awe of Rhimes' ability to multitask on all three shows. "There is a calmness that she exudes," said Davis, according to People magazine. "Even if internally that's not what's going on."

"Grey's Anatomy" (8 p.m. EDT), "Scandal" (9 p.m.) and "How to Get Away With Murder" (10 p.m.) all return Thursday, Sept. 24 on ABC.
