Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel had a lot of issues to work through last night on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

The talk show host and the actor took a major step forward in ending their "feud" that carried on for more than a decade. However, the pair still had their work cut out for them.

Damon walked out on stage at "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" dressed as Dr. Phil as he attempted to sneak his way onto Kimmel's show. Damon wore a horrible mustache and bald cap as he talked in Dr. Phil's familiar southern twang.

"A squirrel in a top hat is like a donkey in a dress. You can take it to the prom, but if you try and make it wear lipstick, you're going to get kicked," Damon as Dr. Phil told Kimmel.

Damon thought that Kimmel said he could be on the show and revealed that the two were in a couple's therapy session earlier that day. Kimmel told the actor he said he would "try" to squeeze him in, but made no promises.

Kimmel and Damon's feud dated back to the early days of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," according to E News. When Kimmel's show first started 12 years ago, the host could not yet get big-time guests yet and joked at the end of shows, "Apologies to Matt Damon, we ran out of time tonight."

As the show grew in popularity, Damon started randomly popping up on the show, but Kimmel always found a reason why there was no time for Damon.
