First Lady Michelle Obama will stop by "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" on Monday, Sept. 28. The media-friendly Obama will use her appearance on the show to talk about her "Let Girls Learn" and "Reach Higher" plans, according to Entertainment Weekly"Let Girls Learn" aims to help young girls attend school, while "Reach Higher" tries to inspire students into pursuing higher education and proves career opportunities as well as financial aid.

"It's always an honor to have the First Lady," Colbert says of Obama. "Better than that, it's always fun!"

The First Lady is no stranger to television and the late night circuit. Obama has made multiple appearances on Colbert's former late night show on Comedy Central, "The Colbert Report" and Jon Stewarts "The Daily Show." Mrs. Obama has also sat down with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and the former hose of "The Late Show," David Letterman, The Hollywood Reporter reported.  She is also a frequent guest of daytime talk shows as well, including "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and "Live with Kelly and Michael."

The First Lady is the most recent political figure that Colbert has booked for his "Late Show." Colbert has previously interviewed Republican president candidate Jeb Bush, Vice President Joe Biden and Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. Next week, Colbert will welcome Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Sept. 22.

Obama is set to appear on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" on the same day Trevor Noah is making his debut on his version of "The Daily Show," according to Variety.
