It's not always easy to actually wear the styles and clothes presented every Fashion Week, but there's one look that had fashion and beauty enthusiasts buzzing over the weekend. The models at the runway show for Jason Wu, the designer for Michell Obama and Reese Witherspoon, among others, walked the runway with no makeup on. They only wore red lipstick and made quite a cool, fresh and wearable fashion statement, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The models specifically wore Maybelline's Vivid Matte Liquid lipstick blended in two shades, and makeup artist Yadim Carraza shared some tips on how this can be done for an everyday look.

First, do away with foundation and brow enhancements. "Very raw skin - we didn't do any foundation - to the extent that we may pinch cheeks before they go out. And literally nothing else on the skin, no lashes curled, no brow - nothing," Carraza shared.

Then, shape the lips and emphasize on the roundness by drawing cupid's bows, which are rounder and aren't peaking like mountains. Use a good lip liner, like Maybelline's Color Sensational choices.

Then, apply the lipstick by combining an orange-based and a red-based shade. Blend in using your fingers. You won't need large and sophisticated tools for this.

Finally, add pure red dry pigment to mattify the lips further. Carraza used red dry pigment from the Maybelline factory, but you can purchase similar red dry pigments from Sephora.
