Actor Zac Efron is known for playing the bad boy in his films, but he definitely has a soft side and he put it on display, People reported. Efron and his girlfriend, model Sami Miro, shared sweet Instagram messages to celebrate their one-year anniversary.

Efron, 27, posted a selfie that Miro snapped of the couple in the reflection of what looks like a hotel room window. They both wore backwards snapback hats, and Miro leaned up against her man as he planted a gentle kiss on the side of her head.

"Happy anniversary baby :) I love you @samimiro September 5th," Efron captioned his Instagram post.

Not to be outdone, Miro took to her own Instagram to share her feelings with Efron. Her photo looked like it was taken the same day as the window reflection shot Efron posted, but hers was an ussie. Miro had her arm draped around Efron's neck as they both smiled into the camera.

"Time flies when you're having fun. Happy anniversary baby I love you too @zacefron September 5," Miro, 27, wrote in her caption.

The couple started dating last year, but they tried to keep their relationship out of the public eye, E! News reported. Miro said that while she tried to keep social media posts about her relationship to a minimum, she recognizes the importance the occasional photo has to her relationship.

"I'm not trying to hide anything in my life," Miro told Elle in March. "If I was dating someone who wasn't in the limelight, I might have more photos on [Instagram] of our relationship, but I do think it's important. I mean, it's what is going on in my life, and I think that my social media can still represent that."
