"High School Musical" fans got to see their favorite Disney stars reunite over the weekend at the premiere of the new Disney film "Descendants," Us Weekly reported. Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu and others showed up to support their former co-star Kenny Ortega's newest directorial project, which led to an impromptu reunion where they proved that they're still in this together.

"What team? Wildcats! And how I love you all! Thank you for celebrating with me," Ortega captioned the group shot he uploaded to Instagram, according to Entertainment Weekly. He tagged Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Olesya Rulin, Monique Coleman and Lucas Grabeel in the post.

The cast came out in support of director Ortega's newest project, the Disney Channel Original Movie "Descendants." The live-action film follows the lives of the teenage children of some of the most iconic Disney villains (Cruella De Vil, Maleficent, Jafar and Beast of "Beauty and the Beast"), according to IMDB. The TV movie is scheduled for a July 31 premiere.

"High School Musical" stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were both missing from the impromptu reunion on Saturday. Efron is on set filming the upcoming "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates," while Hudgens is preparing for her role as Rizzo in the upcoming "Grease: Live" performance on Fox, which is set for a 2016 release.
