Lisa Kudrow is the latest celebrity to join pop star Taylor Swift during her "1989" world tour. The pop star invited the "Friends" star onstage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to sing a duet of her character Phoebe Buffay's hit song "Smelly Cat," The Huffington Post reported.

Kudrow and Swift both strummed along together on acoustic guitars in the fan-shot footage, and fans held their cell phones in the air in lieu of lighters, singing along.

"Smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you," Kudrow and Swift sang in the song's iconic melody. "Smelly cat, smelly cat, it's not your fault."

The song is one of the most memorable moments of the hit '90s sitcom, "Friends." In one episode, the eccentric Buffay performed her ode to hygienically challenged felines at the fictional coffee shop Central Perk. Kudrow explained how the song came about during a Reddit AMA.

"The writers wrote it, I wrote the tune, and had a little help from Chryssie Hynde. She was amazing," Kudrow said, according to ABC News. Hynde is known as the lead singer of rock band The Pretenders.

Swift finished off the fifth night of her "1989" residency at the Staples Center with help from some of her famous friends, according to the Huffington Post. Her BFF Selena Gomez performed her new single "Good For You," and pop star Justin Timberlake sang his hit "Mirrors."
