Two women were arrested on Wednesday after police say they attacked each other upon landing at New York's Kennedy Airport, according to the Associated Press. The incident happened at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday on a JetBlue flight from Jamaica.

Flight 960 had just landed when a 61-year-old woman from Brooklyn attacked a 52-year-old New Jersey woman with an eyebrow trimmer, according to the New York Post.

The fight began when the New Jersey woman tried to climb over the Brooklyn woman and was pushed off, according to NBC News. After being pushed, the New Jersey woman punched the Brooklyn woman. The Brooklyn woman then pulled out a sharp eyebrow razor, slashing at the woman and a man who tried to break up the fight.

In retaliation, the New Jersey woman used pepper spray, which quickly spread throughout the plane, according to the New York Post.

The Brooklyn woman was taken into custody on assault charges while the New Jersey woman was issued a summons for unlawful possession of mace, according to NBC News.

Six of the passengers were treated for exposure to pepper spray at the scene, and one was later taken to the hospital. The man who was slashed while trying to break up the fight was also taken to the hospital, according to NBC News.
