Jon Stewart may have just retired from "The Daily Show," but his comeback to television is happening much faster than anyone anticipated as he will be hosting WWE's Sunday SummerSlam pay-per-view event, the company said, according to USA Today. This year's show, which will be broadcast live from Brooklyn, New York's sold-out Barclays Center, is being extended to a four-hour broadcast plus a one-hour pre-show, which begins at 6 p.m. on the WWE Network.

During SummerSlam, The Undertaker takes on Brock Lesnar in what the press release calls a "a rematch of their historic WrestleMania clash where The Beast Incarnate ended The Phenom's undefeated streak," according to the Huffington Post. The event also features a title vs. title clash between Seth Rollins and U.S. champ John Cena, as well as a tag-team match pitting "Arrow" star Stephen Amell and Adrian Neville against Stardust and Wade Barrett.

Fifty-two-year-old Stewart, a long-time wrestling fan, has been in a "feud" with WWE world heavyweight champion Rollins since a March "Monday Night Raw" event, according to the New York Daily News.

Stewart left Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" earlier this month after hosting the show for 16 years. His final tearful episode was one of the most-watched episodes of the series, bringing in 3.5 million viewers.

WWE SummerSlam airs Sunday, Aug. 23, at 7 p.m. on the WWE network.
