Austin Mahone is back on the market! The pop singer attended the unveiling of his wax figure at Madame Tussauds's Wax Attraction in New York earlier today and confirmed his break up with fellow pop star Becky G, J14 reported.

"Yeah, we broke up," Mahone told J14.

The adorable couple confirmed the dating rumors in April and shared every intimate detail of their relationship on their Instagram accounts, E! News reported. But the last photo that Mahone posted with Becky G was five weeks ago. Her absence on his account could have been the telltale sign that the couple was drifting apart, although just two months ago Mahone gushed about what he loves about Becky G.

"What I love so much about Becky is I feel like I can just relate to her so much," he told E! News in June. "It's cool to date someone that does the same thing you do so you can express when you're stressed out about this and that, and they can be like 'I feel you and understand because I'm feeling the same.'"

He also said that he was excited to share a new single with his now ex-girlfriend, according to Billboard. He teased the track in an interview last month, and said it was scheduled to be released on his upcoming yet-to-be titled album.

"There's definitely some love songs," Mahone told Billboard, "and there's actually a song that I wrote and produced at my house that I had [Becky G] do a verse on, so it's pretty cool."

Meanwhile, Becky G has been keeping busy with her own music career since the split from Mahone. She's currently rehearsing for a tour and gave fans an update on Twitter.

"Guys I'm fine! I'm happy! I'm going on TOUR!! It's just stressful," she told her fans. "But I promise I'm good :) love you guys."
