Season 2 of Revolution is only a few weeks away and, if you’re anything like me, you’re wondering how our heroes are fairing in this new era of “patriotism.”

According to TVLine.com, the season premiere begins way into the future and has to utilize an arsenal of flashbacks to apprise viewers of what has been going on. Also, it seems two of the cast members are now using fake names and someone from “Friends” is going to be joining the cast.

(“Friends” cast members seem to be popping up everywhere.)

Judging from the Comic Con trailer and previous spoilers it doesn’t really seem anyone is going to be doing well heading into next season.

Billy Burke (Miles Matheson) recently told EOnline that Miles will still be facing some trouble with Nora’s (Daniella Alonso) death in Season 2.

"He is going to carry it with him for a while," Burke told the website. "As actors I will say losing Nora was a big blow…losing Daniella and [Danny who was played by Graham Rogers] were all big blows for us, but the nature of the show is that people have to die. Still, for us it truly was like losing family."

In the Comic Con trailer, we saw Aaron (Zak Orth) get sliced in the chest and as far as we know is fighting for his life. Monroe (David Lyons) is literally fighting bare-chested, sweating and missing in action. Of course, the world is rebuilding so it may be a long time before things start going well at all.

“Revolution” returns Sept. 25, 9/8c on NBC.
