It seems we’re headed back to the United States of America, well a rebuilding, dysfunctional version of it anyway. Monroe is no longer a big bad general, Aaron gets slashed at some point next season, and our main cast from last season will have to band together to defeat a much bigger enemy.

Here’s my Season 2 Wishlist, for Revolution:

No.1—Rachel and Miles

A Rachel and Miles relationship is going to be extremely difficult this season. Miles is still reeling from the death of Nora, which will probably make him more emotional messed-up than he already is. Also, Rachel’s dad appears next season and, as we saw in the Comic-Con trailer, he’s not Miles’ biggest fan. Nevertheless the writers and producers hinted at it and teased us for a good portion of last season. So, hopefully it doesn’t turn into one of those relationships that’s obviously there but never really happens for a few seasons.

No. 2—The Main Cast Actually Stick Together

During the Comic-Con panel for Revolution, show creator Eric Kripke told fans that the cast from last season would have to put aside their differences somewhat and band together to fight a bigger evil. Here’s hoping it stays that way. It wouldn’t at all be surprising if Neville or Monroe got a better offer from one of the Patriots and decided to abandon the team. If they stick together and actually fight as a collective unit this season, maybe they have chance at winning. However, it seems the aforementioned Mr. Monroe and Mr. Neville are more inclined to back a winning horse. So if the Patriots start winning, they might leave the team.

No. 3—The Commander and Chief

At the end of last season, the President of the United States was returning from a long stay at Guantanamo Bay (yes that sounds as weird to me as it does to you). I’m not exactly sure if he and his Patriots will be the main villain this year. But if they are, I hope the mysterious guy returning from Guantanamo, is even more mysterious and powerful when he goes up against our main cast. Everyone likes a good villain.

Season 2 of “Revolution” premieres Sept. 25, 9/8c on NBC.
