Vandal Savage may be one man, but it will take an entire team of heroes and villains to take down the supervillain at the center of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow." The CW series has cast Casper Crump to play the immortal Vandal.

Crump will make his debut as the DC supervillain in the "Arrow"/"Flash" crossover episode that will air later this fall and then recur on "Legends of Tomorrow," according to Deadline.

Vandal Savage has spent the past 6,000 years causing mayhem and destruction around the world, influencing the worst dictators and despots ever recorded in human history. He is a brilliant tactician who possesses immense technological prowess.

Crump joins an ensemble that includes Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer/The Atom), Caity Lotz (Sara Lance/White Canary), Victor Garber (Dr. Martin Stein/Firestorm), Wentworth Miller (Leonard Snart/Captain Cold), Dominic Purcell (Mick Rory/Heat Wave), Ciara Renée (Hawkgirl/Kendra Saunders), Frank Drameh (Jay Jackson), Arthur Darvill (Rip Hunter) and Falk Hentschel (Hawkman).

The Denmark native will next appear in the 2016 live-action adventure film, "Tarzan," starring Alexander Skarsgård, Margot Robbie, Samuel L. Jackson and Christoph Waltz. Crump is set to play Captain Kerchover.

"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" will premiere at midseason on The CW.
