Say good-bye to another host from "The View." Nicolle Wallace announced that she will be signing off from the morning talk show at the end of the season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

After one season on the show, the 43-year-old conservative political commentator has reportedly declined producer's offer to become a "contributor." Wallace opened up about her decision on Thursday's episode of "The View," telling the audience she has enjoyed her time on the show and getting to know her co-host.

"I love you guys, and you know I never thought I would get this job in a million years. I was more surprised to get it than I would have been to not get it," she said. "I would have been more surprised if they had kept me around because I am the original political nerd."

She continued, "I have loved being a part of this table I have loved sitting in this chair and it was never mine, but I'm lucky I got to occupy it for a little bit."

During the show, Wallace went around the table and thanked the producers, the crew and her co-host for her experience - even telling co-host Whoopi Goldberg that, "I've fallen in love at first sight with three people: my husband, my son and Whoopi Goldberg."  She also called Goldberg and Rosie Perez, who wasn't on Thursday's show, the "two of the loves of my life."

"Our friend Nicole Wallace is going to leave the show at the conclusion of the season," executive Bill Wolff wrote in a staff memo, according to MSN Entertainment. "Having worked with her for most of the last year, you know the warmth, smarts and professionalism she has brought to the job every day."

"She will always be a friend of our show, and I know you join me in wishing her only the best," he concluded.

The 19th season of "The View" is set to begin in September. While Goldberg, Michelle Collins and Raven-Symone are all set to return next season, Perez announced in June that she would be leaving the show.

Candace Cameron Bure, former "View" co-host Sherri Shepherd and "Good Morning America" weekend co-anchor Paula Faris are in talks to join the show as co-hosts.
