Murray, ranked No. 3 in the World, defends his US Open title on Wednesday.  He's played well this season, posting a 37-7 record with four titles.  Despite his impressive performance throughout the season, the Scot believes Rafael Nadal is the one to beat in New York.

"It's hard not to be (impressed by Nadal)," Murray told BBC.  "He hasn't lost yet because he's beaten some tough players in tough tournaments, winning the two tournaments back to back in Cincinnati and Canada.  I think it's only been done once before.

"I think (Andy) Roddick did it once [in 2003], so it doesn't happen often.  It's not like he's had easy draws or whatever.  He's beaten some top, top players."

Nadal moved to 16-0 this season with a win on Monday over Ryan Harrison.  If Murray and Nadal are to meet, it'll be in the final.  For Murray to get there, he must first go through Llodra.

Ranked No. 49 in the World, the 33-year-old Frenchman is just barely above .500 on the season with a 12-10 record.  He's struggled with hip and hamstring injuries this year, forcing him to withdraw from several tournaments.

Wednesday will be the fourth meeting between Murray and Llodra.  Murray has won all three of their previous matches, with their last head-to-head in 2012 at the Australian Open - Murray won in three sets.
