Lisa Lampanelli, the Queen of Mean, lost 107 pounds since undergoing gastric sleeve surgery in 2012. The comedian who once weighed 248 pounds, now weighs a healthier 141 pounds. She gained a new lease on life from her weight-loss journey and is looking great, according to Yahoo News.

Lampanelli, 53, said she doesn't like the term beautiful as she is aware that comparing herself to others is counterproductive and being self-assured is a personal thing. "When it comes to confidence, I think the term is 'compare and despair,'" explained Lampanelli. "If you compare yourself to someone who you perceive is better than you, you're going to always feel like a loser. If you compare yourself to someone who you perceive is worse than you, you're going to feel a false sense of one-upmanship. Stop it. Say, 'I'm in the place I'm supposed to be.' That builds confidence. That lack of comparison helps you succeed and feel good about yourself on your own terms."

The decision to have surgery was rooted in the emotional overeating that led her to gain more than 100 pounds since she was 18 years old, according to the Examiner. Lampanelli said from the ages of 18 to 50, she tried every diet that came out and even owned a home health spa, but still gained weight.

After losing all of that weight, Lampanelli made major lifestyle changes as well. On top of taking summer classes at Yale's drama school and getting a divorce, she also shifted the focus of her stand-up comedy routines.

"I'm cutting out a little just because acts aren't the same they were years ago—you kind of grow as a person and a performer," she said, according to Inquisitr.

After turning things around this much, the Queen of Mean might need to shed her title for a better fitting one.
