Kolkata (7-4) trails Chennai by one game for the top spot in the IPL standings. The Knight Riders earned their third straight win after handing Punjab a one-wicket loss on Saturday. Andre Russell came away with the Man of the Match award after scoring 51 runs on 21-ball and posting bowling figures of 1/50.

"It was a tremendous team effort. The guys believed in themselves," Russell said after the match, according to CricBuzz.com. "You don't need to be too greedy when you are batting. I have been working on that. It is a bit stiff (shoulder), but I am a warrior. I am loving every minute and thanks to the fans. Hopefully see you all in the final."

Mumbai, meanwhile, is sixth in the league with a 6-6 record following its 39-run loss Sunday to Bangalore. The Indians' struggles on the bowling front hurt them, with Lasith Malinga being the only player on the team to take a wicket.
