“Fast & Furious 7” already has the best villain in the franchise's entire history with Jason Statham. (Although I think he’d be pretty cool as a member of Toretto’s team.)
Nevertheless Jason Statham is Ian Shaw and we’re all anticipating how much of a beast he’s going to be in the movie. However, there’s a piece that’s missing—his gorgeous girlfriend/partner. It worked well for his on-screen brother Owen Shaw (played by Luke Evans.)
Gina Carano turned out to be an excellent choice to play Owen Shaw’s undercover girl. She was gorgeous, could kick some butt and played the part of the undercover bad guy pretty well.
Adding a female bad-guy could do nothing but help the movie. So who should it be? I’ll number my choices then from three to one.
Choice Number Three: Megan Fox
You can never go wrong with Megan Fox—literally, never go wrong. We won’t even spend time discussing her looks cuz they’re a given. However, she’s played the bad girl pretty well. Also, her characters have been around fast cars before. Heck, she’s been around fast cars that transform into giant killing machines. “Fast and Furious” always needs a girl that can fight and we got a taste of that when she played “Lilah” in “Jonah Hex.” So fighting, cars and being beautiful—yup she’d fit in just fine.
Choice Number Two: Scarlett Johansson
Johanssen is a great combination of beauty and bad-a**. Her portrayal of the Black Widow in “The Avengers” was spectacular. I’m sure all of us remember the scene early in the movie where she appears to be captured and then easily breaks out of the chair, kicks butt and goes on her merry way. Filming for “The Avengers 2” and any other projects she is working on might make it a bit difficult to join “Fast and Furious” but it would still be nice to see her as the female Ian Shaw.
Choice Number One: Zoe Saldana
Zoe Saldana is the female version of Jason Statham. She is an absolute beast in every movie in which she appears. “Columbiana”, “The Losers,” “Avatar,”—the list goes on. Oh and she, like the other two, is extremely gorgeous. She is currently filming “Guardians of the Galaxy” but it would be great if she could take her talents to “Fast & Furious 7.”
