Rovio, the maker of the ever popular, loved, and enjoyed mega hit Angry Birds series, had recently launched a new cross-platform account. Whether playing a title on Apple's iOS or Google's Android, it allows gamers to continue where they had left off.
The company is well aware of quite complex hindrance. Thus, the company is truly thrilled to launch and finally introduce an amazing solution which lets gamers sync their game progress when they switch devices saving many gamers from the task of having to re-complete Poached Eggs, Mighty Hoax and Danger Above from scratch.
Today, the the new Rovio Account is featured in two titles: The original Angry Birds and The Croods. The company had expressed its objective to continue engaging Rovio Account to all of its other titles to include several entries in the Angry Birds franchise.
Presently worldwide, Rovio Account is available for free on both iOS and Android. Before its debut, the feature was in testing for a few months to ensure success. Currently, it is available to all who play titles from the company. The Angry Birds franchise is also available on Mac, Windows 8, Windows Phone, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Kindle, among others.
For regulatory purposes, users must be at least 13 years old to start an account. On an ongoing “Angry Birds” game, just press the account button and for “The Croods”, just simply tap "Register". Shortly after registering at the Rovio Account, users shall then receive a verification email and can start playing non-stop.
Currently, Apple offers cross-platform support for titles with both its Game Center social service and iCloud syncing service. So far, these capabilities are strictly restricted to Apple devices only.
The launch of Rovio Account makes way for the developer to expand to even more platforms aside from Android and IOS.
