For consumers who want to have basic and uncomplicated Windows 8, all rolled into one that won’t cost a gazillion, Acer might have the answer with the launch of its Z3-605 Series in the United States.
The desktop has a 23-inch panel, not really expected to be the best since it only carries a Core i5 CPU, 8GB of RAM, a DVD burner, and a 1TB hard drive. But don’t brush it off just yet, the 1080p IPS-based LCD can give great graphics, and it also comes with a touch screen version that supports air gestures. All that for a modest price of $700 for the basic package, and $800 for the touch screen version.
The new Z3-605 is first in Acer’s All-in-one Desktop, and it comes with Harman Kardon® Speakers Sets, plus the front speakers come with a Dolby Home Theater v4 which gives a totally superior sound experience. The 23-inch Full HD IPS display gives spectacular images. Users can also have it configured to have hand recognition software, making gestures capable of executing basic commands. Lastly, the ergonomic casing can tilt from ten to 30 degrees, and it comes with an HD webcam that you can adjust for your viewing comfort. The designers also grouped the ports and buttons to make it easier to access.
Frank Chang, Acer America’s director of desktop product management, discussed in a press release the importance of integrating the Harman Kardon speakers and Acer’s technological innovation. He said that Acer was among the first to market the Harman Kardon premium sound to a conventional all-in-one desktop. The Z3-605 is expected to set new standards in desktop, by giving high quality audio experience, and the convenience of ergonomic designs.
The Z3-605 is highlighting the ergonomic designs, user friendly functions, and the superb sound quality. It is designed to be functional, enjoyable, and not to mention affordable for everyone.
