Samsung Unveils Galaxy Ace 3; New Mid-Range Android Smartphone

Samsung officially announced the Galaxy Ace 3 targeted at the mid-range Android Smartphone market. The new Ace 3 includes attractive features to give users an enhanced mobile experience.

Samsung, the world leader in mobile technology, announced Monday the launch of Galaxy Ace 3. The company's press release, enumerates its various smart features.

Samsung is targeting the entry-level smartphone market with its new Ace 3, giving users a pleasurable experience. The design of the new Ace 3 is inspired by the Galaxy S4 smartphone, so for those who do not fancy large screens, the Ace 3 is a smart option.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is packed with powerful features to give a faster and efficient user experience than its predecessor. The 4.0 inch smartphone has a 1GHz Dual Core processor and 1GB of RAM with 4GB of internal storage capacity. The Ace 3 also includes a microSD card slot for those who want higher storage, upgradeable up to 64GB. It runs on the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The 4-inch display boasts 480 x 800 WVGA resolution. The camera includes features such as Sound & Shot, Best Photo, and Buddy Photo Share, similar to that in Galaxy S4. The 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash can record 720p HD (1280 x 720) @30fps. It also includes a front-facing VGA camera.

The Samsung Ace 3 measuring 121.2 x 62.7 x 9.8 mm, sports a Li-ion 1,500mAh battery. It includes dual SIM card option for those who prefer carrying one phone over two. Samsung's additional services such as S Translator, S Travel, Smart Stay, S Voice, Easy Mode have made their way to the latest Ace 3.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 will be available in two different versions, 3G and LTE. The LTE version is slightly higher in terms of configuration and weight. The Ace 3 3G model weighs 115 grams, while the LTE model weighs 119.5 grams.

The LTE version of ACE 3 packs 8 GB internal storage with 1.2GHz Dual Core processor and 1080p Full HD decoding & 720p HD recording @30fps. It also includes a bigger Li-ion 1,800mAh battery.

The LTE version of Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is available in the U.K. presently. The pricing for either of the Ace 3 versions is not available yet but it should be within the mid-range smartphone market price. Samsung may shed more light on its new smartphone during its Premier 2013 event in London later this month.
