NBC's "Peter Pan Live!" continues to add players to its cast as Minnie Driver joins the production.

Driver, who currently co-stars on the NBC comedy "About A Boy," will play the role of grown-up Wendy Darling and serve as the narrator. The live broadcast, starring Allison Williams at the titular character and Christopher Walken as Captain Hook, will air on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 8 p.m.

"We're thrilled to have Minnie as part of this 'Peter Pan' adventure," Robert Greenblatt, Chairman of NBC Entertainment, said in a statement. "She appears in the final emotional scene when Peter returns to the Darling home years later only to realize Wendy is now grown up and has a daughter of her own, but you'll also hear her voice throughout the movie since Adult Wendy is also our narrator. She's a classy addition to our wonderful cast."

Driver received an Emmy nomination earlier this year for her role in the Lifetime movie "Return to Zero. She previously picked up an Oscar nomination for her role in the 1997 film "Good Will Hunting." Her other credits include the FX series "The Riches" and the 1997 movie "Gross Pointe Blank."

Newcomer Taylor Louderman will play the younger version of Wendy. Jake Lucas and John Allyn will play her brothers John and Michael, respectively. They will be joined by Broadway vets Christian Borle, playing Mr. Smee and George Darling, and Kelli O'Hara as Mrs. Darling.

NBC will also air "The Making of Peter Pan Live!" on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 8 p.m.. The hour-long special will take viewers behind-the-scenes as the cast and crew go through dress rehearsals, Williams learns to fly, and she and Walken choreograph their big sword fight.
