Katy Perry reportedly told Robert Pattinson that reuniting with Kristen Stewart was a bad idea, hindering a potential reconciliation between the "Twilight" stars.
Katy Perry has been making headlines for allegedly being in a non-exclusive relationship with Hollywood hunk Robert Pattinson. The two have neither denied nor confirmed the reports but sources maintain that they're just great friends. A recent media report also suggested that the two were getting serious about their "romantic relationship" and wanted to take things to the next level.
The latest development in this love story is that Pattinson wants to go back to his former love Kristen Stewart but Perry thinks it's a bad idea.
"Katy has told Rob that she thinks it's a really bad idea for him to reunite with Kristen," an insider told Life & Style magazine, according to IB Times. Despite reportedly being friends with the 24-year-old actress, the report goes on to claim that Perry seized upon Stewart's decision to step out on Pattinson in 2012 with married "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders as her reason for the duo not to reconcile.
Perry is of the opinion that Stewart will hurt Pattinson again. Fans have enough reason to think so too. Recently, Stewart was in the news for trying to get close with Demi Moore's drummer boyfriend Sean Friday. While these rumors haven't been confirmed yet, there's a strong chance it may be true, considering Stewart's controversial past.
Media reports also have it that Pattinson's friends and family are worried about him. However, they know that giving the actor any advice against patching up with his former lady love only falls on deaf years.
"Rob is completely blind when it comes to Kristen," an insider reportedly told In Touch magazine. "He finds it very hard to say no to her!"
The insider also told the magazine that there's a high possibility that the two are already dating - secretly of course!
However, a recent Page Six report debunked all thes rumors, saying that Pattinson is "on the prowl" for a new girlfriend. The tabloid also reported that he's enjoying singlehood and doesn't want to get into a committed relationship any time soon.
