Mom Juggles 3 Jobs To Support Teen Daughter's Lavish Spending Habit

A British mother works three jobs to support her shopping-addicted daughter's spending habits, the Daily Mail reported.

Jackie Walsh, of Lancanshire, England, barely makes $11 an hour as a nurse for the elderly. On top of that she has another job cleaning bathrooms- plus another job- all to maintain her 15-year-old daughter's $1,000-a-month spending habit. Walsh said she does it because it makes her daughter Lauren happy.

"Lauren just loves shopping but then so do I," Walsh said according to the Daily Mail. "She probably gets that from me. If you've got it, spend it- that's what I say.

"Nine times out of 10, she does get it, to be fair. She's got me wrapped round her finger somehow."

The mother and daughter are featured in this week's episode of the reality show "The 12 Year Old Shopaholic and Other Big Spending Kids."

Lauren unapologetically admits she is spoiled, boasting about her lavish collection of shoes, most of which she does not wear. She spends an average of $1,000 a month filling her closet with designer goods.

"I think my friends would describe me as spoilt and I don't disagree with them because I know I am," said Lauren, who also has a younger sister named Rachel, according to the newspaper.

The teenager has a pair of Hunter rubber boots, which can cost over $300, that she has never worn.

"I do feel quite guilty because it's just money wasted. I don't know how much [my shoes] cost because my mum just buys them for me," Lauren said according to the Daily Mail.

Walsh said she spends her hard-earned money on Laruen because it improves her daughter's confidence. It doesn't appear the family's spending habits will slow down anytime soon, however. Walsh is currently looking for a fourth job.

"I know that I'm soft and even my friends will say: 'Say no to them Jackie!' But I can't," Walsh said.
