An Indiana teenager pleaded guilty to killing a disabled man and his daughter in 2011 on Thursday, the Associated Press reported.
Trevin Sanders, 19, entered his plea in Mercer County in Ohio as a part of an agreement with prosecutors. His sentencing his scheduled for April 15.
The teen and his accomplice, 23-year-old Bryant Rhoades, were charged in March of last year for the 2011 murders of Colleen Grube, 47, and her disabled father, 70-year-old Robert Grube. They were found dead and bound by duct tape in their Fort Recovery home.
According to the Van Wert Independent, the two, and possibly others, were searching for valuables to pawn and prescription medication.
Sanders' guilty plea included two counts of aggravated murder with gun specifications. Since he was 17-years-old at the time of the murders, he cannot be given the death penalty.
Rhoades has pleaded not guilty. If he is convicted, prosecutors reportedly plan on seeking the death penalty.
