X CEO Linda Yaccarino is now supporting Elon Musk's foul words against fleeing advertisers. She confirmed her stance in the latest memo she sent to employees on Thursday, Nov. 30.

Before Elon Musk insulted X's advertising partners during the New York Times DealBook Summit, the billionaire was criticized after he agreed to an antisemitic post on his social media platform.

Tweets by Elon Musk are shown on a computer April 25, 2022 in Chicago, Illinois. It was announced today that Twitter has accepted a $44 billion bid from Musk to acquire the company.

After that, numerous ad companies decided to freeze or pull out their spending. This disappointed Musk, leading him to say foul words against them.

However, instead of urging the billionaire to avoid further igniting the issue, Yaccarino backs up Elon Musk.

According to Business Insider's latest report, Yaccarino sent a memo to X staff, confirming the stance of the social media giant when it comes to leaving advertisers, as well as critics.

"Our principles do not have a price tag, nor will they be compromised - ever," said Linda Yaccarino.

"No matter how hard they try, we will not be distracted by sideline critics who don't understand our mission," added the X CEO.

She also said that what Elon Musk shared is an unmatched and entirely unvarnished perspective and vision for the future.

Although she supports Elon Musk and his controversial remarks, this doesn't mean that Linda Yaccarino is giving up on attracting advertisers.

NBCUniversal Chairman of Advertising Sales and Creative Partnerships Linda Yaccarino speaks onstage at the Beyond Brand: Content's New Frontier panel during Advertising Week 2015 AWXII at the Times Center Stage on September 30, 2015 in New York City.

Based on her statements, what Linda says is that what's happening on X is inevitable for a social media platform that is trying to be a 100% free-speech website.

Of course, Elon Musk's recent insults against advertisers are making her job more difficult. Some ad experts and veterans even urged her to resign from being X's CEO.

But, she told them that would hold firm on her current position.

"X is standing at a unique and amazing intersection of Free Speech and Main Street - and the X community is powerful and is here to welcome you," she said.

Advertisers Fleeing X Platform

Ever since Elon's antisemitic issue trended and his insults against advertising firms made huge headlines, numerous brands decided to halt their spending.

These include Apple, Disney, IBM, Lionsgate, Warner Bros. Universal, and Paramount Global, as reported by Engadget.

The latest one to do this is Walmart, which suggested other companies use other platforms for their advertisements.

With the ongoing business trend on X, there's a high chance that more advertisers will leave the company for good if the issue regarding antisemitism and other similar problems is not solved.
