Qatar Leads Talks About Hostage-Prisoner Swap Between Hamas, Israel

In addition, Israel reported that it thwarted an infiltration attempt by militants operating in northern Lebanon, further complicating the situation. The situation could worsen if Hezbollah, a potent organization with a history of conflicts with Israel, becomes involved.

According to reports, Israel has responded to the infiltration attempt with helicopter attacks on Lebanese territory, resulting in Hezbollah casualties. The announcement by the Israeli defense minister of a siege on Gaza has raised humanitarian concerns in the region.
