The TikTok director for business development in Asia-Pacific, Vanessa Brown, says, "The Greatest Gamer Philippines showcases the journey to becoming a professional gamer."
Besides giving us a glimpse of their humble beginnings, the show also seeks entertainment to the gaming community as it showcases the virtues needed to kick start a professional career in Esports.
TikTok sheds light on the astounding popularity of gaming in the Philippines. It turns out that a staggering 43 million folks in the country are into gaming, giving the Asian archipelago the 25th spot in the global market of gaming revenue.
Our friends from Tech Times say the thrilling reality competition boasts a lucrative cash prize of roughly $4,400 or P250,000 for the winner. Besides the cash incentive, the victor of the esports reality show will ink a contract with the Mobile Legends team of Smart Communications, Smart Omega.
