Chinese Spy Balloons Flew Over US On Trump's Watch Per Biden Admin Official; Ex-POTUS Reacts

The Biden administration reportedly says that at least three Chinese spy balloons entered US territory during the Donald Trump presidency.

One high-ranking government official said three Chinese spy balloons had flown over the US during the Trump administration, only discovered when President Joe Biden took office.

The source did not detail how or when the Chinses spy balloons occurrences were uncovered, according to CNN.

The Joe Biden administration official said the intelligence community is ready to advise top Trump administration officials on the Chinese espionage operation, which the Biden administration estimates have been implemented for many years in East Asia, South Asia and Europe, per Politico.

The Pentagon disclosed that identical balloon incidents have happened under the Trump administration after the Biden administration revealed last week that a purported Chinese spy balloon flew above Montana.

Donald Trump Denies Biden Administration's Report

On Sunday, former President Donald Trump Truth Social asserted that Chinese spy balloons did not enter the US on his watch, per Salon.

Donald Trump posted on his Truth Social: "Now they are putting out that a Balloon was put up by China under the Trump Administration, in order to take the 'heat' off the slow-moving Biden morons."

He said that China "has too much respect" for him and that the Biden administration's statements are "just fake disinformation!"

President Joe Biden authorized the balloon shootdown on Saturday, stating his government would "take care" of it. The following day, the Pentagon stated that the Chinese spy balloon did not constitute a military or political danger, according to a previous HNGN report.

Navy and Coast Guard warships searched the seas for Chinese balloon wreckage after the US military shot it down. These were recovered and transported to the FBI's Quantico, Virginia, laboratory for study by specialists and intelligence organizations.
